Intro to Mac
90 minutes, $50 per person, registration required
Join us in this interactive workshop as we dive into the Mac and explore many of the applications you’ll be using. We will cover old favorites, like Finder and Safari, as well as newly-released applications in Lion. We’ll take a look at not just how a Mac works, but rather how we can make your Mac work for you. Also, with our free quick-reference guide, this course is essential to ensure you get the most out of your Mac!

iPad/iPhone Workshop
90 minutes, $50 per person, registration required
Take a tour of Apple’s latest and greatest mobile device. Bring your iPad and learn how to surf the Internet, print document s , take breath- tak ing photographs, and, most importantly, have fun! We’ll also be going over some basic troubleshooting steps, including how to conserve the iPad’s 11-hour battery life. Discover for yourselves how this revolutionary device can work for you, your family, and your business!

Mac Tips & Tricks
90 minutes, $50 per person, registration required
Learn about third-party solutions that the Apple Store can’t tell you about! A Macintosh professional will demonstrate for you several built-in and third-party applications and accessories. Services like Dropbox, Pandora, will all make your experience more enjoyable. This course will teach you the tips and tricks than an experienced user takes for granted. Become a seasoned Mac user in an hour and a half!

iLife Walkthrough
90 minutes, $50 per person, registration required
iLife is what makes a Mac a Mac! This suite of applications is preinstalled for your creative whims. After a brief introduction to the applications - from tools for creating a DVD to music-editing software - we will take a much closer look at iPhoto. Together, we will cover everything from putting a photo on your computer (“importing”), to editing it, from sharing it with friends, to even showcasing it as a creative project!

please note:

  • You will need to create a free Apple ID in order to download Mac, iPad, or iPhone apps together.  Please notify us if you do not have or do not know your Apple ID; we will be happy to assist you in creating one!
  • Don’t forget your power adapter, keyboard, and mouse! If you need help setting it up, please come an extra fifteen minutes earlier.
  • Apple laptops or iMacs only, please.
